Hofstra University congratulates the students named to the Fall 2017 Dean's List for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the Dean's List.

A total of 12,594 students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

The Iowa State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean's List honors students who were enrolled in 12 credit hours and earned a 3.5 grade point average for the term.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top twenty percent of undergraduate students within each division for first semester 2017-18 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic excellence.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for fist semester 2017-18 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence.

Students were named to Wisconsin Lutheran College's Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. To be eligible for Dean's List, a student must carry a semester GPA of 3.6 or higher.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2017-18 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

Iowa State University horticulture students attended the 2017 Mid America Collegiate Horticulture Society (MACHS) meeting and competition in Crookston, MN. Participants in the competition identify multiple plants, take a general knowledge exam, and rank specimens in plant judging classes. Iowa State's team of 4 students placed 3rd in the team competition, others attending participated as individuals. In addition to the contest and meeting, students participated in area industry tours.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2017 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

Sixty-six incoming first-year College of Human Sciences students participated in Orientation at Iowa State University in Ames, June 15-16. As part of the program, students and their families met peers, signed up for classes, became familiar with the campus, and learned tips for making the most of their college careers.
